SMS Service Notification Terms and Conditions

2.1 Purpose

The SMS notification service provides automated text message updates regarding:

• Work order status updates
• Equipment repair progress notifications
• Ready-for-pickup alerts
• Work order-related announcements specific to your order

2.2 Service scope

This is a transactional notification service only. No marketing messages, promotional offers, or advertisements are sent through this SMS program.

3.1 Age requirement

You must be at least 21 years of age to consent to receive SMS notifications.

3.2 Explicit opt-in required

• Consent must be provided explicitly and voluntarily in person at the facility
• You must be the owner or authorized user of the mobile phone number provided
• Consent is documented at the time of equipment drop-off
• Each work order requires separate consent

3.3 What you're agreeing to

By opting in, you:

• Authorize Lemcoe Precision, LLC to send automated SMS messages to your mobile phone
• Confirm the mobile phone number provided is accurate and belongs to you
• Understand that message and data rates may apply
• Agree to receive work order-related messages until your order is complete or you opt out

4.1 Frequency

• Message frequency varies by work order (typically 1–3 messages per work order)
• Messages are sent only when there are relevant updates to your work order
• No recurring subscription messages

4.2 Timing

Messages may be sent during normal business hours, typically between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM in your local time zone, unless urgent work order updates are required.

5.1 Message charges

• Lemcoe Precision, LLC does not charge for SMS notifications
• Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply
• You are responsible for all charges from your mobile carrier

5.2 Carrier responsibility

Your mobile carrier is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6.1 How to opt out

You may stop receiving messages at any time by:

• Replying “STOP” to any SMS message received

6.2 Effect of opting out

• You will receive one final confirmation message
• No further SMS messages will be sent for that work order
• This does not cancel your service order, only SMS notifications
• You may opt in again for future work orders

6.3 Service completion

SMS notifications automatically cease once your work order is complete and you’ve been notified that your equipment is ready for pickup.

9.1 Information collection

We collect only the information necessary to provide SMS notifications:

• Mobile phone number
• Name
• Service order details
• Consent timestamp

9.2 Data use

Your information is used solely for sending service notifications and is not shared with third parties except our SMS service provider (Twilio) as necessary to deliver messages.

9.3 Data security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.

10.1 Twilio services

We use Twilio as our SMS messaging platform. By consenting to SMS notifications, you acknowledge that your mobile phone number will be processed through Twilio’s systems for message delivery.

10.2 No third-party marketing

We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes.

11.1 No guarantee of delivery

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure message delivery:

• We cannot guarantee messages will be delivered
• Messages may be delayed due to carrier or network issues
• We are not liable for failed or delayed message delivery

11.2 Service interruptions

The SMS service may be temporarily interrupted due to:

• Technical difficulties
• System maintenance
• Carrier network issues
• Force majeure events

11.3 Accuracy of information

We strive to provide accurate service status updates, but SMS notifications should be considered supplementary. For the most current information about your service order, contact us directly.

16.1 Right to modify

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting at our facility and/or on our website.

16.2 Notice of changes

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes through:

• SMS notification
• Posted notice at our facility
• Updated documentation provided with service orders

16.3 Continued use

Your continued participation in the SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

17.1 Our right to terminate

We reserve the right to terminate SMS service to any user:

• Who violates these Terms
• Who provides false or fraudulent information
• For any reason with notice

17.2 Effect of termination

Upon termination, you will no longer receive SMS notifications but your service order remains unaffected.
